Meet Cheryl De La O

Nutrition and Health Assistant for Dona Ana County Head Start since October of 2018. Born and raised here in the Southwest region. Graduated from Las Cruces High School in May of 1999. Received an education scholarship through Chick-Fil-A. She is an NMSU Alumni class of 2007 with a Bachelor degree in Microbiology and minored in Biochemistry. She is currently working on a CACFP Professional Certification.  She wants to continue her education by working to receive a CDC in Early Childhood Education. She is known as the sticker lady and loves meeting new Head Start children every year when she goes to each center and screens children for Vision and Hearing.
