Teena Bhakta serves as the Program Director for NMSU Dona Ana County Head Start, leading our dedicated team in delivering exceptional early childhood education and support to the community.

With a diverse skill set encompassing account management, data analysis, advertising, accounting, and more, Teena brings a wealth of expertise to her role. She is a dynamic leader, an inspiring public speaker, and a compassionate coach, which makes her a valuable asset to our organization.

Teena is passionate about staff development, leadership development, and teacher training. She believes in the power of training and mentorship to bring out the best in our educators and support staff, ultimately benefiting the children we serve.

In addition to her professional skills, Teena is deeply committed to early childhood education and the well-being of our young learners. She is skilled in grant writing, workshop facilitation, and facilitating important discussions on issues related to early childhood education.
